Aloha!

Thank you for considering us as the photographers for your wedding! We are

Lexi Mackenzie and Christiaan Phleger, a husband and wife photography team

specializing in weddings since 1999. Christiaan was previously a newspaper

photojournalist so our style springs from a real photojournalist experience

where we capture the moment and tell the story of your wedding day with

exceptional imagery.

We offer photographs that express the spontaneity and natural beauty of the

moment. Our approach is unobtrusive and personal as we respond to the

unique nature of each day. We personally hand print all our fine art black

and white photographs. The prints are handmade on fiber-based paper and

finished with an archival toning sequence to ensure the highest quality and

longevity. The result is exquisite fine art photography that will be a joy

to look at over the years to come.

Color images are captured digitally and presented on line with a

personalized website so you can instantly share photos with family and

friends. The prints are presented in gorgeous Koa wood albums and hand-cut

mats. The albums and matting materials are archival quality with acid-free

materials to ensure that your photographs will last generations.

We are based in the Hawaiian Islands and available for travel world wide.

Hawaii is a magical place for weddings with brilliant locations and a

fabulous climate. The elements combine to create an exquisite wedding

experience. We have a passion for our craft and find it tremendously

gratifying to produce art on this level to document such a special time in

life. The wonderful relationships we form with our clients are a fantastic bonus

In 2008 we were honored by Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine as being “Masters of our Craft”. We were one of 5 couples selected nationally for this distinction.

In 2003 we were recognized by New York based Photo District News (PDN) magazine as being one of the top 15 wedding photographers in the nation.

In 2009 we were recognized by Hawaii Bride and Groom magazine as being one of the top wedding photographers in Hawaii.
